Redbooth 앱 리뷰

It could be so much better.

This app lacks so much parity with the browser. There is no way to enter a carriage return for multi line comments. You can move a task to another list but not to another workspace like you can in the browser. App also has bugs where you can’t comment and need to close the task and reopen to enter a comment. I pretty much only use this app as a reader. If I need to do anything useful this app doesn’t do it.

Best way to stay organized

Stay on top of all tasks and only assign them to people as needed. If you have a lot of tasks, this is what you’ve been looking for.

Us the Web App Instead.

The UI for the iPhone and iPad are so poor as to be unusable. The Mac OS, with UI close to the web, is too buggy to use consistently. Forget the apps and use the web.

No 2FA/MFA TOTP

It’s mid 2020... any service that doesn’t provide at minimum 2FA SMS is disqualified from being a vendor for us. We had a contractor bring this tool to us but because of the lack of reasonable and expected security features, we cannot use it.

This app makes it so easy to manage multiple projects!

Love this software.

Dark mode is a mess

Love Redbooth and love the app until one of the more recent updates which supposedly supported dark mode. It’s a complete mess. More screens that are wonky looking on unreadable to count. Not sure it was actually tested before release...

Still missing features like time tracking!

Extremely frustrating that this app, after years, still doesn’t have time tracking despite the fact that it’s a key feature on one of the paid tiers. If we’re going to have to upgrade to get time tracking, it should at least be available across platforms. If you’re a consultant or work in any role with clients and want to quickly log time while you work or while you’re meeting with clients, you have no choice but to use a different system or open up your laptop to start a timer.

Glitchy

Both the app and website freeze about a min before scrolling

The absolute best for the price

I’ve tried every darn one of these project management SaaS solutions known to man, and this one is the most streamlined, elegant, and sufficient for all my needs. It’s always had a good consistent experience between desktop and mobile as well.

Need to improve

Still missing some features like best visualisation of tasks and log hours

Redbooth

We use redbooth for our business but the mobile app is lacking. We have technicians and managers in the field who need access to notes. We keep client information on redbooth like phone numbers and address. The app does not allow you to click a phone number to make a call or click an address and go to it in maps. It also does not allow you to “copy” these fields to paste into phone or maps. Most other apps have these features, so it shouldn’t be an issues to make it happen.

Love it

My self and our team use it everyday. It’s clear, fast and easy to learn.

Love the app, but major problems.

Absolutely love this app. I’m a graphic designer for a T-shirt company and it’s great for my boss to send me info when new jobs come in and I can send her files and keep everything for that job in one place. HOWEVER, the app keeps turning off my notifications randomly. So while I think it’s been several days since my last job...they are actually piling up, my boss is asking questions, and sometimes new info doesn’t even show up until I’ve refreshed the app a few times. My notifications turned off a few weeks ago, and now it won’t even let me turn them back on. It’s very frustrating.

Missing time logging feature

Great app! I wish there was a way to log in time spent on a task, like there’s on an Android app. If there’s one, please tell me how

Best Project Management Tool

Been using Redbooth for over 10 years now incorporating it into several different companies. Intuitive, easy to navigate and keeps the whole team on task and on time.

Desktop works; app is lame

The app needs major work. The reason for using Redbooth on desktop is because it’s superior to many other applications, but then you use the mobile app and all the strengths that draw you to redbooth desktop vanish and you wonder why you use redbooth desktop if their mobile app is so lame

The only task management tool thats ever worked for me

I have tried just about every tool. Asana is far to large, Jira is too complex, Trello is too simple, and so on. I have never been able to just use the tool and actually get things done. Then I found RedBooth, and felt like I was home. I am not sure that I could tell you exactly why it just fits for me, but the best description I can give you is that its as easy to use and free flowing as Trello, while having the only features I really need from the larger more complex tools. It’s that middle ground that just does what I need. Beyond all of that, they are rolling out good updates very fast. The company has been great to work with and support is very responsive. The App is not as good as the Desktop/Web version yet, but it is catching up fast. And I really want the web version for most things anyways. The App does what I need when I am remote or on-the-go. With constant updates, I am sure it will catch up quick.

App Freezing

The app downloaded ok onto my work iPad but continually freezes. I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the app to see anything. This is a hinderance when I’m on the road and trying to complete tasks. Please fix it.

Too many changes with every update can be a bad thing

I loved Redbooth in the beginning, but with every update, they change something so drastic that I have to essentially relearn things or change the way I’ve set up my workflow. Mostly, they remove the things that I loved in the beginning, such as seeing the timelines and dates from the main page of my tasks (the most recent update means I have to click on each individual task to see what it is due, which means I can’t track my team as easily). Or being able to set a begin and end date with my project templates in the desktop version (the current update means that I can only use a template if the project starts that day, rather than in the future). It’s intensely frustrating and I’m leaning towards trying other programs.

Doesn’t work

Downloaded the app. Tried to signup. Enter my email (as step 1 of 3). Goes to a spinning wheel, never advancing to step 2. Deleted app and reinstalled, same problem.

I don’t like to rate

I love that iOS lets you tell the system you don’t want to be asked rate apps. I review apps all the time, but my choice. While I love Redbooth both as an app & service, they are ignoring that system preference and seemingly won’t let me use the app until I rate it. So I have, 1-Star.

Not responsive

Just as I’m mastering Redbooth something has happened to the app. I’m constantly having to force quit the app on my MacBook and then it has not saved my work. In the web version it freezes a lot. The mobile app is terrible. You can kind of see what’s happening in your workspace but you cannot IM teammates or add tasks. Very frustrating. I’m having to communicate via Skype and Redbooth. I would not recommend this app until they’ve worked out the bugs. There is nothing worse than doing double work. I also don’t like the way tasks and updates are presented.

APP

Sería de mucho provecho poder trabajar más de la APP, muchas veces los usuarios estamos fuera de la oficina o en otros sitios y se hace tedioso y por momentos imposible trabajando desde la APP Saludos

Redbooth is awesome but

The mobile app is terrible.

Knocking out tasks on-the-go!

I have to admit, I'm horrible at keeping a to-do list. From post-it's to project management apps, I've tried everything to keep me organized. Redbooth is the only thing to stick. It's full of features yet somehow very simple to use. The Redbooth mobile app is great too, allows me to keep up with projects while I'm out of the office. They are constantly upgrading it with new features and bug fixes. I feel our entire marketing team is functioning better now that we're all using Redbooth.

Has a LOT of potential

This app is updating frequently and gets better upon every update. I use the desktop client, but the mobile app must be as flexible as the desktop. Items that need updated: be able to drag tasks and reorder, ability to modify sub tasks, add files via Dropbox, google drive, etc. , be able to delete workspaces, and a way to organize workspaces into groups or collections similar to Trello. At the rate they are moving, I'm willing to bet these updates will happen very soon!

Backbone of our business!

Redbooth has been something that has helped us be productive with task management. The product is really easy to use, and the iOS app is simple and does the job well for the features it supports. The thing I like the best is that they have great customer support and their development team has a short turnaround time on the features we’ve requested so far.

Redbooth app is amazing!!

I use Redbooth heavily for planning events for my clients. The app lets me plan on the go and is super fast and easy to use!

Won't work

I downloaded the app bc it sounded perfect. Once I opened the app I was prompted to log in. Ok I have no account how can I log in? There is no way to create an account from downloading the app. Disappointed!

Disappointing

The features (even on the updated version) are antiquated and lack functionality. Our office is very disappointed with the lack of features and overall poor design & support. Why the calendar is not usable through the app is mind boggling.

Terrible!

What happened here? The app used to be OK (just OK) but worked. Now it got worse. I was expecting that the app opened automatically when you click on a task in an email, like other apps, but instead it opens on a browser and you have to login every single time you want to see a task from an email. Just copy other hundreds of apps on this and make it worth the time to use this app. June update: this app has been updated a couple of times, but it still Terrible.

Badge App icon

I don't like that the icon keeps the number of task notifications even after the task is opened and read. Right now, my only options are to turn it off completely or always have a big, red 6 on the icon, which should only be there, imo, if you haven't opened the task. I want then to remain on my dashboard, not have to swipe them away (which isn't working right now anyway) but not indicate that I haven't seen them. Should be like mail, once read, notification number on icon goes away.

Worst app ever!!

Can't even create a profile.

Bad.

The application won't even let me create a profile. Nice.

Why not?

I'm having trouble understanding why we can't have most of the features of the website in the app, like conversations and files. That's like half of the usefulness of Redbooth. At this point the app is just annoying because the notifications are permanent until the task is complete. I would recommend taking note of the Frame.io app. They somehow managed to fit every feature (that I have discovered) from the website into the mobile app. Brilliant.

New version took away all my tools

As a project manager, I was accustomed to using the Redbooth app to manage my projects while on the go. I could review existing tasks for team members, create new conversations with clients and do general organization for projects, none of which I can do now. That was 85% of what I did in the old app. The current app still has utility as a means to check updates to already existing tasks and conversations and to manage my own tasks, but I can longer accomplish my project management work. It's pretty (but) disappointing.

WTH

Thank goodness you didn't do to the core web product what you did to this app! Oh dear. Please fix. I essentially cannot use this. We've invested thousands in this. Setup a task and urgently fix please!

Update renders app useless!

I just don't get it. It's like they want us to find a different tool to use. I have simply dealt with Redbooth up to this point, but I am now re-inspired to look for a replacement.

WHY?!.

Why take away the chat function? How are we to communicate with our team when we're not on a laptop/destop? By text? Or email? What's the point of a mobile app if we have to go to a web browser to view attachments? We're a creative agency and this completely hinders our workflow since we can't use the app to review and give feedback. Worst part is that the "view attachment in the web app" isn't even a link!!! So we have to have the app for notifications AND have the web app running to be able to search and see attachments — which completely defies the purpose of using a mobile app. New design & added colors are nice, but they seem so trivial compared to being able to see attachments and to communicate without having to leave the app.

Not an upgrade.!!

It seems like a reverse update. Now we can't upload doc and photos from the app. No new features. Not an upgrade!

Easy and seamless

Great flow between app and desktop

I've been a faithful user for over 4 yrs

I know a lot of people are loving all the other latest trendy PM systems but Redbooth as been my go to favorite and has served to be my life and business organizer! If it's not on my calendar by way of Redbooth it's not real!

Good enough

Just needs TouchID support.

Awesome for onboarding and collaborating with clients

I'm a business consultant and this app just makes things so much easier. I'm assuming that if you're downloading the app, you have already subscribed to their web application, so this review addresses them both. Here's what I love about it the most: 1) When I get a new client, I open a new workspace using their online pre-built templates. Those are awesome!!! And yes, you got to do it from their online version which is much more robust - but who cares. Why?! Because the "client onboarding" template includes all the things you would want to ideally do, when you start working with a new account. Literally, the template has best practice approach to doing that sort of process and I personally feel like I now provide a higher level of service because of it. Totally worth a try. 2) I frequently build other workspaces for specific client projects (the ones I do share with my clients). Those are not in lieu of a standard project plan you might build in MS project (it doesn't have a GAANT chart, otherwise for a simple project plan this app might be enough ...). I also open a workspace when I need to brainstorm ideas with other remote stakeholders, etc. they have a long list of ideas for workspaces on their website under "templates". Worth checking out! 3) Features I love the most are: - The ability to chat with my clients about certain tasks (instead of back and forth emails that would eventually disappear into oblivion) - The ability to @mention specific workspace members to grab their attention to certain tasks or comments (this would trigger a notification on their mobile and / or send them an email too. So helpful!). - The ability to use emoji (I know, I'm a geek...), easily upload photos and files from my iPhone, Dropbox, Box, Sharepoint or email. It was very easy to configure through their online app. The advantage in that is - when you change the file on box, the link on Redbooth is updated. Also, you can flip through the file without ever leaving Redbooth either... Very convenient. - The ability to create rich text (title, subtitle, links etc). This is only available on their online version, but it's totally useful to leverage when you're working on your laptop. - I love love love their Gmail add-on which lets me quickly convert any email to a task. Awesome! Bottom line, if you are a consultant - this is going to help you take customer experience to the next level. It certainly helped me in that manner. I use it with ALL my clients, and they LOVE it!

IPhone app is good but...

If we could attach from tasks in the iPhone that would be great. Especially from Evernote.

Last update rendered app useless

Can't login to the app via any means. Been using it for over a year. Appears to be a new bug that's not been resolved. It's been going on for 2+ weeks. For a business, that's way too long. Hope the fix it.

Still my go to task manager

After trying lots of different task management apps this remains my favorite for its simplicity and ease of use. With other apps I found myself performing for to many steps in order to make tasks, etc. I also love the ability to drag and drop my tasks between lists, this feature is lost on the mobile app and would make for such a nicer experience especially with the iPhones touch sensitive capabilities. This is why I would give only the mobile app itself a 4 star.

Nice App!

Great. Compatible. Accessible!

Love the APP

It's a game changer for project managers of any sort.
